Sherry Ann (Fredlund) Green
September 1, 1949 - July 23, 2023

On the evening of July 23, 2023, our beloved Sherry passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Sherry was born on September 1, 1949 in El Paso Texas. She was the oldest of four children born to Barbara Ann and Donald James Fredlund. She was raised in a Military family and traveled around the world. Sherry graduated from Misawa High School in Japan in 1967.

She met her future husband, John Green, in 1968 and they were married that same year. They were married for 55 wonderful years. John can be heard saying "God I'm a lucky man!" Sherry and John moved from Misawa, Japan to San Angelo Air Force Base in San Angelo, TX for the remainder of John's tour.

They started their family, then moved to Fresno, CA in 1970, where they remained until Sherry's passing. They had three children, James J., Christopher Allan, and Melinda Sue.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents Barbara Ann (Snider) Fredlund and Donald James Fredlund.

Sherry is survived by her husband John Green, sister Kimberly Fredlund, brothers Donald Fredlund and Thomas Fredlund, sister-in-law Linda Green, brother-in-law Keith Green, son James J. Green and daughter-in-law Jennifer Miller-Green, son Christopher Allan Green, daughter Melinda Sue Green (Feist) and son-in-law Ethan Feist, granddaughter Jordan Green, grandson Tyler Green, grandson Logan Feist, granddaughter Alice Feist, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial for Sherry will be announced at a later date.
