It is with a heavy heart that the family of Trudy Hill announces her passing after fighting pneumonia along with other health issues, on Good Friday, April 19, 2019, at the age of 74 years. She fought the good fight and is Home now with Jesus our Lord and Savior!
Trudy was born in Coalinga, California and raised in Fresno, California. She attended Mclane high school and later married Theron Hill in May of 1969, had their only daughter in 1973 and divorced in 1979 but still remained friends.
She had many jobs but her last and most favorite was being a caregiver for the elderly and helping them with things they could no longer do on their own. In the end she needed the caregiving for herself and I know this was hard for her but she had her scooter/power chair to help her be independent over the last 6 or 7 years. Even through all that she was a comedian to the end, she loved her jokes and pranks its what brightened her day, to make people laugh! She loved Elvis and Jeremy “Elvis” Pierce the local Elvis impersonator! She also loved Owls and her huge owl collection, her dogs, playing games with her friends, going out to eat, going to the zoo with her grandkids and great grandkids, ice cream and movie night with her best friend Elva and just spending time with her friends and family when she could.
She also loved Bingo in her earlier years it was a high light in her life. She did not have a home church but she did know the Lord and would attend sometimes mainly at the Bridge which was right across the street from her house. She was a free spirit a wild flower that went where the wind blew her. So many things I’m sure I left out that I don’t know but what I do know is that she loved the Lord. She loved Life and she Loved Elvis oh man did she Love Elvis. I know she is Dancing with the real Elvis in Heaven right now with no more pain and a new body and she is laughing and smiling with all her predeceased Friends and Family and it is Good.
We Love you Mom (GG) it is well it is well.
Trudy will be lovingly remembered by her Daughter Tamara Gandy and son in law John Gandy and fondly remembered by her Grandchildren Summer Price and Dylan Gandy and two Great Granddaughters Finley and Layton also by her half brother Dennis and her Uncle CJ.
Trudy was predeceased by her parents Ted and Ethel Butts.
AND I AM CONVINCED
THAT NOTHING CAN
EVER SEPARATE US
FROM GOD’S LOVE.
Neither death nor life,
Neither angels nor demons,
Neither our fears for today
Nor our worries about
Tomorrow - not even the
Powers of hell can separate
Us from God’s love.
