Vera (Gallarzo) Castellon was born in Santa Barbara, California on August 25, 1926 and passed away May 25, 2021 in Fresno, California. She was the mother of four children, ten grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren.

Her first son was Val Castellon, wife Virginia, and their children Eric, Kathi and Nick,her first daughter was Jennie Perez (deceased), whose children were Alfred and Gina, her second son is Alfredo Castellon, whose sons are Eli and Isaac,her second daughter is Gloria Zuniga, husband Gerald Zuniga, and her children are Toni (deceased), Jesse and son Ricky.

In addition to being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she held various jobs that included farming, dairy farming, a cook and an elementary school janitor.

She enjoyed sewing, gardening and dancing. She had special fun with her very creative woodworking projects that included making doll houses and even furniture. Above all singing was something that she continued with even until her last days of life.

A celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, July 5, 2021 in the Caruthers Full Gospel Assembly of God Church, 2475 W. Mountain View Ave., Caruthers, CA 93609.
