Stacy R.L.
Miles
October 26, 1975 – August 1, 2023
Stacy Rashon Lamar Miles
1975 - 2023
Stacy was born to Darlene V. Gilbert-Myer and Major Miles, Jr. on October 26, 1975, in Los Angeles, California. He was Darlene's and Major's only child. Stacy accepted Christ at an early age and virtually attended Metropolitan Baptist Church of Los Angeles, California since the pandemic. He was educated by Compton Unified School District graduating from Manuel Domiguez High School, where he was a promising football player.
After High School Stacy moved to Fresno, California to be with his mother where he began working at E&S Residential Service and Arco Petroleum Corporation. While working at Arco he met the lady of his dreams, Jennifer Lopez-Miles. Stacy and Jennifer were inseparable from the first day they met. If you saw one you saw the other. He would constantly tell Jennifer he loved her "to the moon and back."
Stacy was currently employed by Wawona Frozen Foods, Clovis, CA as a lead and machinist. He has worked for Wawona Frozen Foods for the past 12 years.
Stacy had a great admiration for animals, especially his cat named Cleo. His childhood pets consisted of a dog named Skipper and a cat named Bruno. He loved Rap and Old school R&B music and was an advent sports fan, but his all-time favorite team was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His favorite foods were tacos, greens, and cheesecake. No meal would be complete without his mother's German chocolate and pound cake.
Stacy was a man of little words but big on statue, but if you ever had a conversation with him, he was sure to interject his favorite saying "you dig." He loved his family, and his heart was broken when he lost his parents.
Stacy is now rejoicing in heaven with parents Major Miles Jr. and Darlene Gilbert-Myers, his grandparents Eddie and Barbara Gilbert, Aunt, Debra Ann Miles-Henry, and Uncle Willie Miles all who proceeded him in death.
Stacy leaves to cherish his memories the love of his life Jennifer Lopez-Miles, grandparents Veola (Terry) Graddy of Los Angeles, California, uncles Dwight (Edith) Gilbert of Sacramento, California, Joseph (Andrea) Gilbert of Compton, California, James (Brenda) Miles of Compton, California, Edward Alan Gilbert (Marion) of Victorville, California, Terry Gaddy III of Compton, California, Aunt Michelle (Keith) Jones of Los Angeles, California and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
