Richard Fredius Troupe, 79 years old of Fresno California, beloved husband, father and grandfather, went to be with the Lord on Dec 3, 2021.



Richard was a kind, loving, devoted and hardworking man, who loved his wife and children with every fibre of his being. He worked as a chef and restauranteur for most of his life. Everyone loved Richard and he will be greatly missed by a family and friends.



Richard was born on January 31, 1942, in Pennsylvania to Beatrice Augusta Haberer, and Fredius Edward Troupe.



Richard married Sandra Lee Cane in Los Angeles, California in 1963, when he was 21 years old. They were married for 57 years and had 4 children, 1 of which was adopted.



He is survived by three remaining children: Rebecca, Catherine, and Matthew. Though he was an only child, he was blessed to have 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren (and counting).



He has joined his wife and oldest daughter, Wendy, who proceeded him to their eternal rest, last year.



An in person and online memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at Free Grace Church in Fresno on January 8 ,2022 at 10 am.
