Obituary

Paul Nevin Stanislawsky
1954 - 2023

Paul Nevin Stanislawsky, 69 years of age, passed away on Monday August 7, 2023 at Heritage Crossing Hospice.

Paul was born January 27, 1954 in Berkeley California to the late Ann and Joesf Stanislawsky.  The late Jill Stanislawsky was Paul's older sister, and only sibling.  Paul attended Reedley City College, and graduated from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo with a bachelor's degree in biology.

Paul briefly worked in maintenance for the Fresno Unified School District, but with his entrepreneurial spirit he turned his focus into growing a landscaping business.   Obtaining his landscape contracting license was the highlight of Paul's life accomplishments.  Day after day, and year after year Paul worked with passion, commitment, but above all with a sincere heart.  Paul's skills were beautifully reflected when his projects were completed.  Many now have the privilege to honor Paul's memory through the beautiful gardens he polished.

Over the years Paul's clients became like family.  He developed profound relationships with his beloved clients, that he would end up being invited to his client's family functions.  As a gifted listener, Paul not only offered his clients a service, but he also offered his friendship.  Through the years, Paul networked and cultivated great business partnerships.  Paul was a man of his word, and would always put himself last.

Paul enjoyed finding and negotiating good deals. He loved getting things on sale, especially when it came to cigars.   Paul spent his free time reading books, playing on his PlayStation 4, meeting with his closest friends, going to sports games, and attending concerts.  Exploring different parts of the world and learning new carpentry skills fed his curiosity for learning new things.

Paul was a genuine friend and mentor, and it was easy to call Paul your best friend.  He deeply cherished his friendships and took the time to check on everyone to make sure his friends were well.   Paul had a big heart for people, and always saw the best in everyone.  Naturally, Paul was the perfect and ideal neighbor, he smiled and said good morning everyday over the decades.  Paul also held a special place in his heart for his four-legged friends, especially Clem.

Our dearest Paul, deeply loved, our hearts greatly ache.  You will remain in our hearts as if you never left.
