Patrick was born in Evansville, Indiana July 12,1957 to Geneva and Dustin B. Gish.
He attended schools in the S.F. Bay Area and Fresno, graduating from Hoover High School in 1975. His later years were spent in Southern California. While he played and enjoyed football and body-building, soccer always remained his favorite sport. He truly cherished his teammates, friends, and buddies and often talked of them.
Patrick married Candice Collins Bamforth Dec. 10, 2000, and was sadly widowed March 31, 2019.
He is survived by his daughter Cheyenne Geneva Mertz and her mother DeeDee, his brother Michael and his wife Lisa, his sister Janet and her husband Tante, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Patrick will always be remembered as charming, sweet, kind, and meticulous in all his work endeavors.
