Obituary

Michael Steinhauer

January 8, 1954 - September 12, 2022

Michael was born and raised in Fresno, California. He attended Viking Elementary School, Ahwahnee Junior High and graduated from Hoover High School in June, 1972.  He married his wife Pamela on June 16, 1973, right after Pam graduated from Hoover High School.  Mike and Pam were blessed with two children, Jason Michael and Kristin Nicole Maurer, son-in-law Jacob Maurer, daughter-in-law Nikki Steinhauer and  five wonderful  grandchildren, Brice, Corbin, Payton,  Madison and Lilly.

Mike had a varied career that included working as a cement mason, roofer, salesman, demolition, general construction, sheet metal worker and happily retired in December 2020 as a traffic controller at Traffic Management Inc.

Mike cherished his family and loved spending almost every weekend at his home in Cambria, California.  He loved driving his 1956 red convertible T-bird through Cambria and going cruising down the coast with Pam.  He also loved motorcycles of any kind, especially Harley Davidsons and decorated both his garages and a room in Cambria to showcase his Harley collections.  Mike built a pirate bar in the basement of the Cambria house and where he enjoyed entertaining his family and friends.

The family would like to thank everyone for their love, support, prayers and generosity during this difficult time.

A Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, 10am at Cross City Church, 2777 E. Nees Avenue, Fresno, CA  93720
