Mary Cathryn Roberts
1945 - 2024

On June 17th, surrounded by her daughter and two grandchildren Cathryn passed away peacefully at home.  Cathryn was born to Edwin and Lavelle Merkord in Roswell New Mexico on March 14, 1945.  She was the third of five children.

In her early years Cathryn enjoyed family get togethers, cards and dominoes with friends and family, and any reason to bring the family together.  As a teenager her family moved from Texas to California, where she met and fell in love with Warren Baldridge.  Together they built a life and had three amazing children,  Laura Baldridge-Champ, Kevin Baldridge and Lester Baldridge.  They enjoyed many happy years together, but as it often does, their marriage did not withstand life's storms.

From 1982 she was married to Harold Roberts until his passing in 1994.   Life took Cathryn down many paths, she was a waitress for many years, owned her own restaurant for a few years, and was a staple at Orchard Supply Hardware in Clovis.  Later in life she enjoyed crocheting and watching her great grandbabies play.  Her work roles may have changed over the year, but her love of family never did.  She was always a devoted mother, grandmother, and Grammy.

She is survived by her Daughter, Laura. Laura's children, Nikki and her husband Steve Castro, their children Corbin and Madalynne, Cody Champ and Tilly, their children Jaxon and Ayden.  Her son, Kevin and his wife  Tammy Baldridge, their children Megan and Dustin Baldridge, along with Megan's children, Bruce and Aurora.  Her son, Lester  and his wife Renee Baldridge. As well as her favorite niece, Terry Muir.

The family would like to thank Infinite Heart Hospice for their guidance and support during the most difficult time.
