Lucinda Lucille Hackney passed away unexpectedly February 27, 2021 from complications ofCOVID-19, a resident in Oakhurst, California. Lucinda was born in Downey, California September 6, 1973, daughter of Janet Marie Steffens and John William Steffens Sr. (deceased 2020).



Lucinda was married to her loving husband Sheldon Ray Hackney (deceased 2005) in Oakhurst, California.



She leaves behind her children Sherine Nichole Diard, and Joshua Ray Hackney and her precious granddaughter Harmony Diard. Her siblings are John W. Steffens III and Erica DeSantis (deceased 2015), Stepsisters Tammy Sue Burbank, Alexi E. Johnson and had many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.



For several years Lucinda worked as a dedicated LVN at Community Medical Center (Adventist Health) in Oakhurst, California, caring for those in need.
