John Burton Swank
It is with great sadness that the family of John B. Swank announces his passing at his home on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at the age of 80 years old. John was born on Dec. 4, 1938 to Lester and Edna Swank in Zainsville, Ohio.

He attended Clovis High School and graduated in 1956. Following graduation he served for the U.S. Air Force for many years. While serving for our country on August 8, 1960 in Texas married his beloved high school sweetheart and best friend, Alice G. Weber and later on they settled in Clovis, Ca. where he became a maintenance supervisor for many Central Valley Companies. John and Alice just celebrated their 59th Anniversary on Aug. 8, 2019 residing in Fresno. John was a member of the Clovis Masons, Fresno Racing Pigeon Club and loved raising chickens and attended numerous Bluegrass events with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Gary. He will lovingly be forever remembered in addition to his wife Alice (Weber) Swank, are his sons, Mitchell J. Swank and his wife Louise; Philip J. Swank and partner David; sister Mary (Swank) Mesple; many nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of friends who loved him.

A celebration of life & memorial will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31 at Clovis Veterans Memorial Buiding, 808 4th Street, Clovis CA.
