The Life of Jerry Zamorano

On the evening of July 7th, 2021 Jerry Zamorano passed away in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his loved ones. Jerry was born to Daniel and Elsa Zamorano on August 20th, 1958 in Salinas county. He spent his younger years in San Jose California. In his later years, he made a life for himself in Fresno California.



In his early years Jerry served in the United States Marines. Jerry also retired from a long successful career of maintenance contracting in 2014.



He married his lovely wife Teresa Jean Romero in the summer of 1990 in South Lake Tahoe. Teresa and Jerry enjoyed spending quality time together attending church and creating memories with lifelong friends. They also enjoyed going to concerts and camping with friends and family.



Independently Jerry had hobbies he enjoyed such as camping, fishing in McCloud, caring for his garden, spending time with his grandchildren and being Papa J to Evelyn, Viviana, and Lucas. Family was especially important to him.



Jerry is survived by his wife Teresa, his children Anthony, Vanessa, Mike, David, Andrew, Dominic, and his spouse Nikki. His siblings Victor, Jose, Gabriel, Mardie, Irene, Donald, Danny, and Diane. His grandchildren Ashley, Alyssa, Giovoni, Roman, Makayla, Zachariah, Bella, Mikey, Isabella, and Andrew Jr. and soon to be granddaughter Emma Rose Zamorano.



Our family would like to give special thanks to Hinds Hospice for offering care during Jerry's final months. Franky and Samantha Romero for helping and giving love and support. We want to thank our family and friends for offering all their thoughts and prayers during these trying times. We are grateful and love you all.



There will be a celebration of life on Friday August 20th, 2021, at Life Cathedral Church of God located at 6901 n Maple Ave 93710 at 10:30am.
