Geraldine "Dena" Marie Baker
1946 - 2024

Dena was born on November 30, 1946, in Los Angeles, California, to Gerald and Doris Heyman. She was the youngest of their three children.

Dena moved with her family to Fresno in 1961 after Gerald and Doris decided to leave the Los Angeles area. She graduated from Hoover High School in 1964. Her marriage to high school sweetheart, Joe Baker, followed in 1965.

After moving back from Germany following Joe's Army deployment there, she resided in Fresno with Joe for the rest of her life. While Fresno was where her and Joe lived, they considered being in the mountains their home, whether it was staying at their property in Prather during the winter and spring or camping above Shaver Lake in the summer and fall.

Dena was preceded in death by her parents, sister, and mother and father-in-law, Joe and Dolores Baker. She is survived and missed by her loving husband of 58 years, Joe; sons Jason (and wife Brooke) and Todd (and wife JuDee); grandsons Carson, Bennett, and Owen; great grandson Bronson; and brother Rick.
