Eva Angelina Shanoian

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Eva, our loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and to all whose lives she touched on April 27, 2021.

Born March 24, 1942 in Porterville, California, her family soon settled in Fresno. She was a 1961 graduate of Fresno High School.

In 1963, she married her high school sweetheart, John. Later that year, they welcomed a son and a few years after, they welcomed a daughter.

While being a home maker and full time mom, she decided to go back to school to become a manicurist. She later opened her own nail salon and counted her many clients as dear friends.

Upon retiring, she was fortunate enough to spend her time doing the things she loved. Eva was a master gardener; she spent much of her time tending to her garden and beautiful flowers. She also enjoyed doing yoga and Tai Chi at the Clovis Senior Activity Center and met many friends there.

Eva loved to travel, having gone all over the world. She counted London as one of her favorite places. She loved learning new things and was always open to new adventures. She was a creative person and beautiful soul inside and out.

Eva was always positive and a ray of sunshine to those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Eva is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, John. She is the much loved mother to John Peter (Kimberly), Erikka (Todd), and cherished grandmother to Sophie and Drake.

A Celebration of Eva's life
