Dorothy Yasmine Lee

1932 - 2022

Dorothy Yasmine Lee was born in Hanford, California October 2, 1932 and received back to God January 6, 2022. She was always fond of the San Francisco Bay when she lived there as a young woman. Dorothy completed a Baccalaureate in Journalism and a Masters in Health Science at Fresno State College. She served as member and president of the local Fresno chapter of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom. She gained many friends in Recovery Support Fellowship.

In her own written words: "I have had the privilege of having lived a loving, full, and satisfying life. I thank God for all blessings and knowledge, the three children and six grandchildren entrusted to me in this lifetime and the many friends he has sent my way. I cherish the loving and warm relationships as a result thereof.

My survivors include son Daniel E. Woo, son Stuart C. Woo and his wife Jennifer, grandchildren Stephanie, Spencer, Nicolas, and Nathan; daughter Danette and her husband Christopher Nolan, grandchildren Tadhg and Emer."

Dorothy had a soft, quiet, but determined step. She left her lasting footprint on the hearts of those for whom she cared and those who cared for her.
