Danny Allen Gatlin was a native of Fresno. He was born on October 15th, 1964 at Sierra Hospital, he left this world on March 28, 2021 at the age of 56 yrs. He died from a little known and rare disease, Creutzfeldt -Jakob. It robbed him of his life in a matter of weeks. Understandably, it has left all of his family and friends reeling and in complete shock!



Dan is survived by his sister Susan Varner and his brother Shawn Gatlin, his ex wives; Denise Glessner and Sandra Malarkey, two daughters; Shannyne Tamayo and Kara Kerber, six grandchildren; Blake Olson, Mia Tamayo, Lily Tamayo, Dimitri Glessner, Savannah Jones and Haley Kerber. Also surviving him is his Nephew; John Zardo ll, NiecesAunt, Uncle and many cousins, his good friends Paul "Fingers" Rattchford, Sean Bryan, Jason Hurd, Bob Mason and many others.



Dan was proceeded in death by his parents Jack Lee Gatlin and mother, Dorothy Ruth Upton.

Dan attended Clovis High.



Dan worked in construction for many years and later in life became a truck driver.



Dan was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and artist. He started out racing bicycles and quickly graduated to motorcycles at the age of 13yrs. His love of art and motorcycles later lead him into building and repairing Harley Davidson's.



A Celebration of Life will be held at Lost Lake on May 8th at 11am.
