Obituary

Clifford Lynn Shelton, most commonly known as Cliff, passed away peacefully and surrounded by a handful of his loved ones on August 30th, 2025 at the too young age of 54.

He is survived by his partner Christina Stefanelli, 4 children Nathan, Aaron, Marissa, and Brandon, soul-dog Moose (lovingly known as Moe), and brothers Danny Shelton and Kim Hamilton.

Born on March 15th, 1971, he was best known for his passions for adventure, music, and making friends. He loved adventure by cruising through Fresno with Moose by his side and running errands, taking his motorcycle for a ride wishing Moose could be with him, and through food by trying new places and cooking for friends and family. Cliff was a multitalented musician, from drums and guitars to stumpf fiddles and harmonicas, music was with him everywhere. He enjoyed going to local shows and concerts, playing instruments at home, and blasting his favorite songs while tending to his garden. Cliff was able to make friends anywhere and everywhere. Even places as simple as the grocery store or car wash, you'd find him mingling with anyone who'd be willing to listen and crack a joke.

Cliff was a hardworking man his entire life, having worked many odd jobs up until his tenure at Stefanelli Distributing as a delivery driver for 25 years. He then kept his days busy while going through his dialysis journey. He was eager to share his stories about dialysis and what he had experienced while having treatments at Davita. He loved to tell his family about the friends he made there and how exciting it was to share tips and tricks he had learned over the years.

Cliff was so proud of everything in his life. He was proud to finally have a house of his own, with a yard he meticulously took care of, his partner continuing and advancing in her career, and his children growing up and shaping their own lives. He will be remembered for making everyone laugh, feel included, and unashamedly being himself.
