It is with great sadness that the family of Bill Joseph Chase announce his passing on Thursday, August 7, 2025.  Bill was born in Fresno, California on December 26, 1958, to Jack and Clara Chase (Hall).  He lived most of his life in Fresno, California and during childhood in Southern California.  He also lived in Coarsegold for approximately 15 years before moving back to Fresno 5 years ago.

Bill attended Fresno High School and later became a custodian for the School District.  Bill loved to fish and the beach but his passion in life was helping others.  Family, friends, neighbors even strangers.  It didn't matter.

Bill is survived by his only child Joseph Chase (Sylvia), and his three grandchildren Andrew, Savana and Addison Chase.  His Grandkids meant the world to him. He is also survived by his sisters Shirley Flanagan (Rex) and Mary Cook (David), many nieces and nephews, Aunts and Uncles, Cousins and Dear Friends.  Bill was preceded in death by his Dad Jack Chase, Mom Clara Chase, Sister Rosemary Chase, Sister Liz Stinnett and Brother John Chase.

We find comfort in 2 Timothy 4:78: I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
