Barbara Jean Hansen
January 25, 1943 – July 27, 2023

Fresno, California – Barbara Hansen of Fresno, died peacefully at home on July 27th 2023.

Born and raised in Dos Palos, CA, Barb was a loving, kind, generous person.  She wore her heart on her sleeve and made everyone around her feel cared for.

Barb was a devoted wife, mother, and friend to many. She loved to laugh. It was a hallmark of her friendships.

Barb was a teacher and loved to cook.  Her favorite place to be was in the kitchen with family or friends, or using her talents as a teacher to share her love of cooking with children. When not in Fresno, she and Norm would often spend time at their family cabin in Wilsonia.

Barb is survived by her husband of 52 years, Norman, and her son Erik.
A memorial service will be held at Hope Lutheran Church on Monday, August 14th at 10am.
