HOW CREMATION SOCIETY SERVES ITS
MEMBERS Cremation
Society of Central California is a membership supported organization devoted
to the simple
and dignified disposition of a decedent at the time of death. Our membership plan
offers a welcome alternative for those wishing to avoid the
complications and expense of
the traditional mortuary-funeral-cemetery system.
Since our inception
in 1977, many Californians have found peace of
mind through
membership in our society. They find the Cremation Society concept to
be a new and
refreshing answer to the old problems associated with death and pre-planning
for funeral
arrangements. Today, Cremation Society of Central California has grown
into Central California's largest community based State of California Licensed cremation
service with
a membership roster reflective of virtually every facet of modern day
American society.
Cremation?
Its growing acceptance the world over
offers an answer to many of the
financial, psychological and environmental problems
encountered in the traditional
system. In some parts of California, the cremation
rate is already over 70%.
Today, all major religions accept cremation.
Cremation Society of
Central California has knowledgeable personnel available 24 hours a day. Unlike
traditional funeral or memorial societies who refer members to selected morticians,
Cremation Society is fully licensed by the State of California Department of Consumer
Affairs as a funeral director. Consequently, all arrangements are handled directly
by the Society. At the time of death, a simple phone call is all that is necessary
to activate our service. Upon notification, our car is dispatched to transport the
body to our modern holding facility. All further technicalities and legalities are
then handled professionally by the Society. WHAT CREMATION SOCIETY
CAN DO FOR YOU Cremation Society of
Central California promotes through organization and education, a
simple, dignified, economical and complete service at the time of
death through cremation. A plan that returns the body to the
elements, with no burden of making decisions and resultant pressures
upon the survivors. Membership enables you to make all your
decisions now pertaining to death, thus assuring your personal wishes
are carried out and at the same time relieving your family of any
burden. MEMORIAL SERVICES
A simple memorial
service can be meaningful and comforting to survivors. Although
never required, Cremation Society encourages members to consider this
in their arrangements. A memorial service, religious or
otherwise, may be held in church, in our chapel or any other location
of significance and is generally held without the presence of the
deceased. Cremation Society provides assistance that is in
keeping with the wishes of the deceased.
DEATHS OUTSIDE THE
IMMEDIATE AREA
Cremation Society is
licensed by the State of California to provide service any where in
California. We are also affiliated with a nationwide network
of professional service providers. Should death occur outside
the immediate area, Cremation Society will administrate and oversee
all arrangements so that they conform to the wishes of the member.
In most cases, arrangements are made in the locality of death.
Studies show that less than 1% of deaths occur outside the area of
residence.
For
those who would like the added assurance of knowing that arrangements
are secure even if death occurs away from home, Cremation Society
offers
"Worldwide
Travel Protection Plan"
which is one time fee of
$ 399.00.
